eVISA application guidance

Step-by-step preparation for submitting your Antigua & Barbuda eVISA online with minimal delays.

Prepare for your eVISA submission

The electronic visa (eVISA) portal allows travellers to complete the entire visa request process online. Gathering the correct information in advance helps prevent delays and follow-up requests.

  • Create your account: Register using the traveller’s legal name and a monitored email address. Activate the account from the confirmation email before signing in.
  • Collect passport details: Ensure the passport is valid for at least six months beyond your intended stay. Scan the biodata page in colour (JPEG or PDF).
  • Trip documentation: Prepare proof of accommodation, return or onward travel, and—if applicable—an invitation letter or business contact information.
  • Supporting evidence: Depending on travel purpose, you may need financial statements, employment letters, or enrolled student status. Upload clear, legible files.
  • Payment method: The portal accepts major credit cards. Have payment details ready to avoid timing out during checkout.

Filing tips

  • Use the “Add traveller” function if you are applying for family members travelling together.
  • Answer eligibility questions accurately; mismatched information may trigger manual review.
  • Save progress frequently. The portal retains drafts, allowing you to return later with additional documents.
  • After submission, monitor email for status updates or requests for clarification from the Department of Immigration.
